  1. A Christmas MP3 Mix

    Feb 7, 2005, 9:44 AM EDT

For the past couple of years I’ve put together a Christmas mix.  Some people hate Christmas music; others, like myself, enjoy it from time to time.  I put my mix from last year up on the web here for you to download.  There are 18 tracks.  A mix of classics: Sinatra, Elvis, Nat King Cole,…

  2. Super Bust

    Feb 6, 2005, 10:55 PM EDT

Lose.  The Patriots are a good team.  The Eagles could have won, but they simply didn’t bring their A game.  T.O. came up pretty big, props to him.  Donovan’s turnovers gave the game to the Pats.  What the hell was with the poor clock management and lack of no huddle coming down to the wire? …

  3. Support the700Level

    Feb 6, 2005, 4:04 PM EDT

Hey you, you are reading what I have to say.  That means you find something about this website intriguing.  Maybe you hate me, maybe you think I am omniscient and wise.  Anyway, since it is the  Chrismahanukwanzakah season and my yearly fee for the webspace/software for this website is due soon, I though I’d give…

  4. Watch: BC v. Michigan State

    Feb 6, 2005, 1:35 PM EDT

Tonight at Madison Square Garden in New York the 6th ranked Boston College Eagles will be really tested for the first time this year.  They’ve cruised to an undefeated record against the likes of Drake, Shawnee State, Sacred Heart, and Buffalo.  Tom Izzo is one of the games best coaches and his State team has…

  5. Eagles Game a Complete Joke

    Feb 6, 2005, 12:05 AM EDT

I was having some fun trying to come up with a title for this post.  The words absolutely pathetic seemed like they would have worked well.  Horrible, horrendous, hideous, dreadful, awful, ugly.  The Eagles were so bad I would have rather watched a seven hour marathon of Chuck Norris in Walker Texas Ranger. Some of…

  6. FromWing Bowl to the Super Bowl

    Feb 5, 2005, 5:54 PM EDT

It seems like there is nothing left to talk about.  The wait is almost over.  In the mean time, a good write up in the Daily News about Wing Bowl.  ESPN’s page 2 gives a detailed description of what Wing Bowl is like for those not in the know.  I think he is a little…

  7. Reggie White Tribute

    Feb 5, 2005, 1:38 AM EDT

For those of you who don’t frequent the Philadelphia Eagles official site, they have been doing a rather nice job with their content for the Reggie White tribute in coordination with all of the festivities going on tonight.  Reggie’s number is officially being retired at tonight’s game against the Seatle Seahawks.  There are video interviews…

  8. Party Report from Jax feat. FredEx

    Feb 4, 2005, 4:13 PM EDT

The Inquirer has a blog from some people down in Jax.  There is a nice little post about parties from last night and some of the celebs which showed up including Fredex, the ever stylish Dhani Jones, as well as many non-Eagles.  Pics included.

  9. In Donovan We Trust

    Feb 4, 2005, 11:26 AM EDT

The Philadelphia Eagles play on Sunday in the Superbowl, something many of us have never witnessed.  The national media gives us almost no shot; New Englanders believe their Patriots have zero chance of losing, and Philadelphians think there is no way the Birds can fall short.  There are so many subplots which leads to this…

  10. El Wingador WINS!

    Feb 4, 2005, 9:35 AM EDT

For the second year in a row, the Wing Bowl went into OVERTIME!  The leader, Eric "Badlands" Booker got DQ’ed for "heaving." El Wingador wins by 1 wing in Over time!  The First of 2 Championships for Philly this weekend! Complete coverage along with videos at Philly.com’s Wing Bowl Video Page.

  11. Wing Bowl 13 Update

    Feb 4, 2005, 8:43 AM EDT

At the end of the first half Eric "Badlands" Booker was leading with a total of 80 wings eaten.  El Wingador was 4 wings behind and the defending champ Sonia Thomas was 3 wings behind El Wingador.

  12. Thank The Lord!!!@!!

    Feb 4, 2005, 7:46 AM EDT

Merril Hoge has picked the New England Patriots to win the Superbowl.  This of course means the Eagles will win. Todd Pinkston is a joke.  If he doesn’t come up huge, he should be shot.  Freddie needs to back up his big mouth.  Boomer Esiason thinks McNabb is almost at Namath status.  I am going…

  13. Miracle at the Breakfast Table

    Feb 3, 2005, 7:11 PM EDT

On ebay you can buy the bowl and even the cereal in which this Eagles miracle happend.  Pretty funny stuff, they claim that an Eagle appeared in their cheerios or something. This isn’t as good as "Doug Brien’s Head" on a silver platter which was a hot item after the Jets choked to the Steelers.

  14. Page 2 – Dying for Sunday

    Feb 3, 2005, 3:18 PM EDT

More from the "Philly Corner" Link: ESPN.com: Page 2 – Dying for Sunday. The ultimate comes from Pete L. in Conshohocken, Pa., who sees the game as nothing short of a clash of cultures. Excepting what he sees as real passion in Southie, Pete writes off Boston as a bastion of the effette. He writes…

  15. Flem Files: McNabb

    Feb 3, 2005, 2:03 PM EDT

This article is alright, but the part about McNabb is pretty money.  The title of the article reminds me of T.O.’s shirt yesterday.  It said "The (insert Eagle logo) have landed."  Anyone know if these are for sale? Link: At last, the Eagles have landed – ESPN Page 2 The first time I ever wrote…

  16. Boston’s poseurs have nothing on us Philly fans

    Feb 3, 2005, 10:48 AM EDT

This guy says what he really thinks.    He rips into the Pats "fans" pretty good and gets some jabs in at the wicked stoop-ed Sox drones.  Does every male in Boston own the same exact Red Sox hat? Link: FOXSports.com – NFL Playoffs- Boston’s poseurs have nothing on us Philly fans. Like most bandwagonish…

  17. Is it Sunday yet?

    Feb 3, 2005, 7:01 AM EDT

The Superbowl is only days away and the hoopla is in full effect.  Steve Martarano and Anthony Gargano of 610 WIP led a caravan down to Jacksonville today.  They called in to Glen Macnow’s show last night and gave a report.  Pretty funny stuff.  Freddie Mitchell is really starting to push the line a little…

  18. Media Day Videos

    Feb 2, 2005, 12:38 PM EDT

Media day came and went yesterday, if you missed it, you can catch all the video’s and stories from FoxSports.    A great video from NFL Networks of Donovan and Dawkins in a round table type conversation with Terrell Davis and some others.  Pretty quality stuff here, lots of interesting insight and some goofing around. …

  19. S.I. Cover Jinx Back at NE

    Feb 2, 2005, 11:10 AM EDT

No more Jinx for Trot, the SI cover Jinx is back in New Englands hands!

  20. Reggie Bush

    Feb 2, 2005, 9:56 AM EDT

"When he plays UCLA, he’s gonna face a defense with more leaks than Scooter Libby." -College GameDay analyst on Reggie Bush blowing up against UCLA Not a bad line for someone on ESPN.  Also, Reggie Bush is nasty.

  21. News Flash!

    Feb 1, 2005, 11:37 PM EDT

Yahoo:       NEW YORK (AP) — Tom Gordon and Philadelphia reached a preliminary agreement Thursday night on an $18 million, three-year contract, The Associated Press learned, giving the Phillies a replacement for departed closer Billy Wagner. Gordon also was negotiating with the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians before agreeing to the deal…
