As Hope Is Swept Away, Ruben Amaro Mans the Phone

Whatever hope and excitement the Phillies created with their remarkable late-inning heroics against the Brewers last week was swept away by the Braves over the weekend. The Phillies dropped all three games in Atlanta, with Roy Halladay being on the wrong end of this afternoon's contest.

With the Fightins 12.5 games back in the wild card standings, it's pretty obvious that if Ruben Amaro Jr. can get any decent prospects in return, a slew of Phillies players should be available before Tuesday's trade deadline. What would you like to see RAJ do with this current roster?

Shane Victorino may have played his final game in a Phillies uniform -- kind of weird.

The next couple of days should be interesting.
