The Millville Invasion of 2014 will be remembered not for the successes made on the field but rather the failures. It was a rough, rough night for Cody Asche at the hot corner and the Phillies youngster made three errors in the span of about 25 minutes that gave the Angels the lead and would end up costing Cliff Lee and the Fightins a victory.
Asche, manager Ryne Sandberg, and Lee all spoke about the bad bounces following the loss. Cody says it's frustrating. Ryne points out that the young third baseman has been putting in extra work with Larry Bowa. Cliff points out that Asche got some funky balls.
