Monday at CitiField wasn't as enjoyable for Phillies fans as we would have liked. Dom Brown was left out of the Home Run Derby so Philadelphia fans were left with no real rooting interest. But the day was not without its awesome Phillies moment because NBC 10 handed Cliff Lee's son Jaxon a microphone to pepper his dad with a few questions during the All-Stars media sessions.
Aside from the segment getting a little extra John Clark'd up, it was pretty neat to see Cliff spend time with his son in such a cool setting.
My one real takeaway: when Jaxon was asked what his favorite thing about his dad was, he says that "he's good" and makes the All-Star team. If only he could change that answer to, "he's a world champion." That would be extra special.

And my favorite tweet from the media sessions:
"Whatever," Cliff Lee said for an hour's time at All-Star media day.
