Clifton Phifer Takes On the Mets at CBP

Cliff Lee and the Phillies will look to get over .500 this evening as they welcome the New York Mets to town.

The Phillies bats finally got going a bit over their last two games and with Phife Dog on the hill tonight you have to like their chances.

The Mets will counter with knuckle-baller R.A. Dickey who is 1-0 on the season with a 3.00 ERA. Dickey has decent numbers against the Phils, putting up a 2-3 record with a 2.61 ERA in six starts. He's owned Jimmy Rollins (1-14) while Carlos Ruiz has hit him hard (4-10).

Jim Thome gets the start at first base for the Fightins and is still searching for his first hit of the season.

Charlie's full lineup: 1. Victorino, 2. Polanco, 3. Rollins, 4. Pence, 5. Thome, 6. Mayberry, 7. Chooch, 8. Galvis, 9. Lee

From the Gamte Notes: Cliff Lee has thrown exactly 7.0 innings in all 3 of his career starts against the Mets, while allowing 1 ER or none in each of those starts.

One other interesting note, courtesy of David Hale of Delaware Online: Jonathan Papelbon told him prior to today's game that he intends to use a different entrance song for each game. Neat.

7:05 from the Bank. Let's do some laughing at loud at the Mets expense, please.
