You know what, Dontrelle Willis may have been a pretty bad pitcher in his short stint with the Phillies this spring, but at least he probably would have made things entertaining had he made the roster. Ammirite?
Turns out things didn't work out so well for D-Train down in Baltimore either. According to reports, Willis has up and left the Orioles Triple-A affiliate he was playing with in Norfolk without as much as a text message as to why.
Signs point to Dontrelle wanting to be a starter but the Orioles looking at him as a lefty specialist. Either way, it makes us unhappy to see D-Train unhappy.
