PITTSBURGH, PA -- The start of another hopefully incredible journey begins in a few hours here in Western Pennsylvania as the Phillies kick of the 2012 campaign against the Pirates. On a team that has battled its share of negativity over the spring -- injuries, aging -- one of their most consistent positives will take the mound today in Roy Halladay.
"It's an honor," Roy Halladay told reporters of getting to be the opening day starter for the Philadelphia Phillies. "But here more so because we have numerous guys who could have done it."
