Another South Philadelphia campaign kicks off in just a few hours here at Citizens Bank Park. The most noteworthy item from a walk around the ballpark this morning is the absolutely blustery winds whipping about. The flags in the outfield appear to be going straight across the field from Harry the K's towards the right field foul pole.
Juan Pierre is your leadoff man and left fielder for the home opener 2012. Not exactly something many would have predicted a few weeks ago let alone a few months. Big John Mayberry will get the nod at first base and bat in the six hole behind Victorino and Pence. Full lineup below.

Cole Hamels was skipped on Sunday in Pittsburgh so he could have the honor of pitching the big day today at home. Hopefully this is the first of many opening days in Philadelphia with Hamels throwing for the Phillies.
