Milwaukee Brewers' star outfielder Ryan Braun, the 2011 National League MVP, has reportedly tested positive for performance enhancing drugs and will face a 50-game suspension if his appeal does not stand. From the AP:

Braun tested positive for elevated testosterone, ESPN said, adding that a later test determined the testosterone was synthetic.

It's some unexpected, shocking news about a player many thought to be one of the good guys in MLB.

He has not been proven guilty of anything as of now, but regardless of the outcome of his appeal, you have to think his legacy will be forever tarnished.
