The Phillies have been back at the ball yard in South Philly for just about a week now but it doesn't really feel like spring has truly sprung until we get our first Charlie Manuel sighting of the season. Cholly is visiting the Lakewood BlueClaws this week as part of his role as Senior Advisor with the Phils.

But at the same time Manuel talked with the video crew up in Lakewood and was asked whether he'd take a Big League Manager job if one were offered to him. Charlie says he'd consider it, but reiterates he loves Philadelphia.

Like I said, it's good to see Charlie in the dugout talking ball again. Hopefully he'll make an appearance or two at Citizens Bank Park this summer. Was good.

The bats have been quiet up in Lakewood, so hopefully Charlie can share some of that wisdom.
