So far the news sounds positive for former Phillies catcher and sports radio personality Darren Daulton after undergoing surgery on Monday. Doctors were able to remove the two brain tumors during the seven-hour procedure, and Daulton is said to be in good spirits.
Dr. Kevin D. Judy performed the surgery, and he gave Derrick Gunn a brief update on Daulton’s condition afterwards. The road to recovery will be a long one, but the city of Philadelphia and Phillies fans everywhere are pulling for Dutch.
