Video: Lucky Winner of One Millionth Phillies Bobblehead Giveaway Seemingly Unimpressed with Gold Painted Chooch

Jun 5, 2013, 6:30 AM EDT

source: The Phillies gave out their one millionth bobblehead in franchise history on Tuesday night at Citizens Bank Park, and in addition to a historic 7-3 walkoff victory on the grand slam by John Mayberry Jr., one special fan received an extra-metallic version of the mini Carlos Ruiz figurine.

The lucky little fan received a gold-painted Carlos Ruiz bobblehead and was also handed his prize directly from Chooch himself as the youngster passed through the turnstile to enter the ballpark.

If you watch the video below, the kid is clearly not overly impressed with the gold paint on his Chooch bobblehead. He must have made some killer macaroni Christmas ornaments in his day and knows you can get a can of spray paint at the local hardware store for a couple of bucks.

Maybe someone needs to make the little dude a bobblehead of himself. I hear people love those.

Craig55, I believe you’re the one lacking intelligence. Matthew is my seven year old grandson and a very smart kid. He didn’t know he had been given a special bobblehead, he was so excited to be at the game. Your comment is cruel and mean. Good luck in life if that’s your outlook on things.

This video is too small , I think it is not fare to say that the little kid is not impressed with his achievement.
He is to little and he doesn’t know what he achieved. He will understand more clearly after some years passed.
