Video: Opening Day 2011 in Philadelphia

Apr 5, 2011, 8:01 PM EDT

There’s nothing quite like opening day of baseball season in
Philadelphia. Unfortunately, only 45,000 or so Phillies fans can
actually get to enjoy the full experience of being there for the first
game of the season. We put together the below video to try and give you a
taste of the opening day experience. Whether it’s driving to South
Philly, playing tailgate games in the lot, walking into the ballpark
with the masses for the first time in months, chanting for Charlie,
enjoying the team’s procession in, being mesmerized by the jet plane
flyover, to going nuts when the Phillies won it in walkoff fashion, we
hope you enjoy our attempt to try and capture a little bit of the vibe
from opening day in Philadelphia.

Thanks to my brother Mike for some of his footage.
