Ryan Howard has found a bit of the power that had been missing for much of the season over the last eight or so games. The former basher has four homers in the team's last eight games but he could have had his fifth last night if New York Mets center fielder Matt den Dekker didn't rob him in very impressive fashion.
I watched den Dekker run to the wall, position himself, and get a great hop that was timed perfectly and wondered why no Phillie ever seems to be able to do this over the low wall in center?

The Phillies got crushed the rest of the night and lost 11-2.
