What a Day at Citizens Bank Park

Jul 14, 2013, 2:20 AM EDT

24 innings of baseball.

One demoralizing loss. Then back to the park for another seemingly endless game. The feeling that the day game was happening all over again. An 11th inning wave-a-thon. Midnight came and went. Savery came in. Savery stayed in.

But then, Michael Young delivered. Joy (and relief) filled the stadium. And then fireworks. Goodnight.

Wow…I currently live in New York City and could not watch the game on TV so I ended up checking the updates every few minutes all day and like the artical said the first loss was demoralizing especially having to read about Revere ……but it just set me up to get even more excited for the second game when the Phillies won it in walk off style…… I was on the edge of my seat ( almost felt like I was watching a nail biting Flyers game) but when the game was over I could feel the fireworks 100 miles away in New York City….. I have a good feeling about this team!! they have a weird style of play where they play up to the best and unfortunately play down to the worst….so if they can get ino the playoffs this fall I have a strong feeling they will do some serious damage!!! Go Phills
