At least Evan Turner didn't punch any teammates in Philadelphia

Things haven't been all sunshine, rainbows, and wins for the Indiana Pacers since they dealt for Evan Turner in the eleventh hour of the NBA trade deadline. We always knew Evan to be a little bit different while he played in Philadelphia, but there were never reports like the one Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski wrote about after the Pacers win over the Hawks last night.

According to Woj, Turner and teammate Lance Stephenson went at it at a practice right before the playoff series began. It sounded like some serious fisticuffs and fury:

Two Indiana Pacers dragged a cursing, cut Evan Turner out of the Bankers Life Fieldhouse court, untangling him from a practice-floor fistfight with teammate Lance Stephenson.

Turner hadn't been the first Pacer to lose his temper with Stephenson these tumultuous several weeks, and Stephenson's relentlessly irritable nature suggests Turner won't be the last.

...

Truth be told, there were probably Pacers willing to let Stephenson and Turner beat the dribble out of each other. Still, Luis Scola and David West finally grabbed an enraged Turner and separated Stephenson.

Turner's averages 15 minutes in the Pacers two postseason games and as Woj points out is adjusting to life without the ball in his hands. He's averaging 6.0 points per game on just 3.5 shots while still pulling 4.5 boards and dishing out 2.5 assists per.

Turner denied anything happened with Stephenson but also alluded to something about stress on Instragram:

Too blessed to be stressed.. great team win tonight #suitedandbooted
