Coach Collins' Colorful Quotable: That's One Way to Describe a Drought

The wheels have fallen off. The Sixers are free falling through the Eastern Conference standings, currently sitting in the eighth and final playoff spot after yet another butt whipping at the hands of the Boston Celtics. Not only are they in the final spot, but after losing four in a row, they're only a single game up on the streaking Bucks who have rattled off four straight wins. Now, if they even make the playoffs, Doug Collins' squad is almost assured a first round matchup with the Miami Heat or Chicago Bulls. That should be about as fun as this last has been.

After the 103-79 loss in Boston last night, Collins had quite a colorful line about his team's totally inconsistent scoring.

"It's sort of been the story. Yesterday our bench had 51 and our starters couldn't piss a drop," Collins said. "And today our starters had some points and our bench couldn't score. I told our guys the next game we win is going to be the toughest game we've won all season."

Here's the clip:

And here's Coach Collins' showering praise on the Celtics, who had no problem letting the scoring flow -- a deluge if you will.
