Respectable loss for the Sixers yesterday in Golden State. They were
playing a better team on the road and predictably fell behind early, but
as they’ve done only sparingly this year, actually battled back and
made the Warriors earn the victory, cutting a 20-point lead down to as
few as four in the fourth quarter. Tonight they get a slightly easier
matchup with the 14-14 Portland Trail Blazers, who are also coming off a
loss the night before, at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Rose
Garden is always a tough place for opponents, though, and the Blazers
are 10-4 at home this year, behind the excellent play of all-star power
forward LaMarcus Aldridge and Rookie of the Year front-running point
guard Damien Lillard.

10:00 tip out West,  the last Sixers game of the 2012 calendar year. Where’s that jumper at, Evan?
