Lob City Comes to South Philly

It's the first thing most casual fans think of when the L.A. Clippers come up in conversation these days. Former UCLA guard Jrue Holiday is no different. It was the first thing he said when asked after Wednesday's loss about the Clippers coming to town this evening.

"Lob City," Jrue said with a smirk. "Another L.A. team coming in here. It's always fun to play an L.A. team."

The Clippers are just the latest in a string of really tough teams coming in to the Wells Fargo Center over the last few weeks. The Sixers have held their own on their home turf, but one area they have struggled is in defending some of the league's best point guards, especially when working the pick and roll.

Tony Parker simply went off on Wednesday and Nets' star Deron Williams killed them for 34 in an overtime win back on January 25th.

Jrue Holiday will have his hands full once again tonight with Chris Paul and the Blake Show.

Should be another tough matchup and a very exciting game in South Philadelphia before the team hits the road for a long stretch.

7:00 tip from the WFC. Last time Blake was in town last season he didn't land any monstrous dunks. We don't want to see them beat the Sixers tonight, but we wouldn't mind being wowed once or twice.
