Quotable: Lavoy Allen Would Like to Remind You That Rebounding Is Pretty Much His Thing

Lavoy Allen's sense of humor typically flies under the radar. And when he lets it out, it can be dry  enough that you don't really notice.
It's like that time we interviewed him during his first Sixers training camp last year, asked him a bunch of questions about his toughness, desire and motor, and he told us that he likes to listen to "Moves Like Jagger" before games. It's entirely possible that he does get hype to Maroon 5, but it's also possible he was just messing with us.
With that in mind, we offer you this gem from the locker room following his 16-point, career-high 22-rebound performance last night in the Sixers' 87-76 win over the Bobcats:

"I was a monster on the boards at Temple," Allen deadpanned. "It really was my game. All-time leading rebounder at Temple, by the way. Just want to throw that out there."

Any chance the Sixers stop insisting that a 6-foot-9 power forward play center? He's not bad at his regular position.
Just want to throw that out there.
