Sixers Show Massachusetts Delegates at the Constitution Center What's Up

Perhaps I've watched HBO's wonderful John Adams miniseries one too many times (2), but I found this stunt by the Sixers to be rather humorous.

They put Philadelphia 76ers jerseys, hats, foam fingers, etc. on the life-size statues of the Massachusetts delegates to the Constitutional Convention that are on display at the National Constitution Center down in Old City by Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.

Solid move by the Sixers, although I don't think those Massholes are big hoops fans, they're just really into the Patriots. So you can likely easily convert them from their original side to the better more totally awesome team that represents independence.

If you haven't been to the National Constitutional Center in Philly, you really should check out the history. The little show they do in the middle in that interesting room is worth it. Plus, Springsteen.
