The New Jersey Nets will play their final game at the Prudential Center tonight in Newark, N.J. with the team moving to play alongside Jay-Z and the cool kids in Brooklyn next season.
The pomp and circumstance in New Jersey tonight should probably fall just a tad short of the pageantry up in Boston over the weekend for the 100-year anniversary of Fenway Park, considering the Nets have only played at The Rock two years and it's not even really their arena. Forty-ounce beers will be poured out, empty seats will remain empty, and the Sixers and Nets will play the teams' final game in the Garden State.
So take your best shot, let's see what you've got (we know Lou Williams will). 7:30 p.m. tip from the Dirty Jerz one last time.
