Video: Jrue Holiday's Career Night in a Minute and 39 Seconds

It's been tough for Sixers fans to not get down about all of the negativity surrounding Andrew Bynum, but getting the opportunity to watch Jrue Holiday turn into an All-Star-caliber point guard in front of our very eyes has certainly helped keep Philadelphia fans a bit more optimistic about the future.

Jrue has been downright fun to watch this season and he put in a career night on Sunday against the Suns with a career high 33 points to go along with 13 assists and only two turnovers. He also added a few SportsCenter-worthy highlights including a ridiculous up-and-under layup early in the game and a breakout slam late. You can watch a quick montage of his best plays from Sunday night above.

And for more on Jrue's big night, check out John Finger's post:

“Thank God Jrue was on today,” Collins said. “He was fantastic.”

Actually,
Holiday has been pretty fantastic all season long. He’s averaging a
career-best 18.6 points and 9.2 assists, which puts him third in the NBA
this season. Holiday also leads the Sixers in foul shots, foul shots
attempted and is second in steals. Perhaps most importantly, Holiday
plays nearly 39 minutes a night. Given that the Sixers were outscored by
seven when he was on the bench, that is key.

Those early turnover struggles appear to be just an ugly blip on the radar.
