VIDEO: Newest Sixer Justin Holiday Destroys the Reno Bighorns

In case you missed it over the weekend, reports emerged late Saturday night that the Sixers were prepared to call up Justin Holiday, Jrue's brother, from the D-League.

On Monday, the Sixers made the move official and waived Jeremy Pargo.

Justin, a 6-6 swingman who went undrafted out of the University of Washington in 2011 and is one year older than Jrue, spent time on the Sixers' Summer League squad in 2012 before seeing limited preseason action with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Portland Trail Blazers.

Ever since, he's been averaging 17 points, 5.2 rebounds and a league-leading 2.4 steals per game with the Idaho Stampede of the D-League. Holiday garnered recent attention and earned an NBA tryout after averaging better than 20 per game and shooting over 46 percent from three in the month March. In the process, he absolutely wrecked, as this video will evidence, some team called the Reno Bighorns on March 7, dropping 38 points on 14-for-21 shooting.

In preparation of tonight's inevitable "It's Opening Day for the announcers and umpires, too!" jokes, here's a D-League broadcast. Also, check out the moon bounce behind the left basket.
