Backup defensive tackle Trevor Laws thinks Thursday night’s cross-country trip to Seattle to play the Seahawks on a short week is a game he could fairly describe as “easily winnable.”

Jeff Garcia is often the punchline used today when Eagles fans are trying to mock the most vile of WIP callers, but apparently one franchise thinks he may still have a little something left in his arm. Or are completely desperate. Or maybe a little of both.

This look at how the Eagles are capable of racking up tons of yards on offense only to subsequently fail to put points on the board brought to us by Reuben Frank.

But on Sunday, Eagles fans had themselves an old-fashioned walkout. The streams heading up or down the steps were noticeable throughout most of the third quarter and into the fourth, until there were about eight minutes remaining. Then it stopped. By that time, huge spans of seats were empty.

A final look at the matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots. The Eagles need a win badly, but it won’t come easy, with Tom Brady and the dangerous Patriots attack in town.

While Nnamdi Asomugha has had what many consider to be a subpar season, it’s probably still better than a good number of cornerbacks in the NFL. He’s been beaten for some big plays, but when utilized properly, Asomugha is one of the few guys who can truly take an All-Pro receiver out of the game. That hasn’t changed.

VY is up to the task though. The Birds’ faithful largely remain skeptical about Young’s ability to quarterback a pro football team, many of them specifically questioning his talent as a passer. However, he has an opportunity to put such notions to rest versus a Pats defense that ranks 32nd in the league when it comes to defending against aerial attacks.

Antrel Rolle tells WFAN’s Joe Benigo and Evan Roberts that he would wipe Desean Jackson’s ass out after Jackson taunted the Giants during the Eagles 17-10 win over New York.

For some reason, Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee tweeted about DeSean Jackson’s silly penalty for taunting on Sunday Night Football. Scobee was all “Desean Jackson is a punk” and included the hash tag #growuputinybastard. My favorite part of that tweet isn’t the rip on DJacc, but the use of ‘u’ for the word ‘you’ while telling another person to grow up. Fantastic.

You may remember “Angry Greg Ryan” from his fantastic rant following the Eagles loss to the Arizona Cardinals last week in Philadelphia. He transformed into the @Fake610WIPCaller fantastically and was an instant Internet hit. This week? Following the Eagles win of the Giants, Angry Greg simply wasn’t angry and it makes us a little sad.

The Eagles found themselves in third down on six separate occasions on their game-winning TD drive, and Vince Young converted five of them.
Nov 21, 2011, 12:00 AM EST
With Michael Vick out due to injury, and LeSean McCoy finding little room to run, a rusty Vince Young did just enough to lead the Birds offense to 17 points, while the defense stepped up when their teammates needed them most, limiting the Giants offense to 278 total yards and 10 points. The Eagles move up to 4-6, still a below average mark, but keeping them no further than two games out of first place in the NFC East.
