    Citing league sources, the Inquirer’s Jeff McLane is reporting the Eagles will apply the franchise tag to DeSean Jackson before the free agent period begins. Should the Eagles use the franchise tag as a means to re-sign Jackson for one or multiple years, or should they use the provision to hold him up until they can at least trade him.

    If you were among the Eagles fans still hanging onto hopes that Steve Spagnuolo would be coming back to Philadelphia to take over the defense, it’s time to let go of that dream. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer is reporting that Spagnuolo has agreed to become the New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator.
