  4. If Nnamdi Can’t Go Today, How Much Will He Be Missed?

    Nov 27, 2011, 11:24 AM EDT

While Nnamdi Asomugha has had what many consider to be a subpar season, it’s probably still better than a good number of cornerbacks in the NFL. He’s been beaten for some big plays, but when utilized properly, Asomugha is one of the few guys who can truly take an All-Pro receiver out of the game. That hasn’t changed.

  5. Vince Young, Part Two

    Nov 27, 2011, 12:55 AM EDT

VY is up to the task though. The Birds’ faithful largely remain skeptical about Young’s ability to quarterback a pro football team, many of them specifically questioning his talent as a passer. However, he has an opportunity to put such notions to rest versus a Pats defense that ranks 32nd in the league when it comes to defending against aerial attacks.

  11. Jaguars Kicker Calls DeSean Jackson a Punk, DJacc Calls Kicker ‘Lil Boi’

    Nov 22, 2011, 12:07 PM EDT

For some reason, Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee tweeted about DeSean Jackson’s silly penalty for taunting on Sunday Night Football. Scobee was all “Desean Jackson is a punk” and included the hash tag #growuputinybastard. My favorite part of that tweet isn’t the rip on DJacc, but the use of ‘u’ for the word ‘you’ while telling another person to grow up. Fantastic.

    Nov 21, 2011, 1:45 PM EDT

You may remember “Angry Greg Ryan” from his fantastic rant following the Eagles loss to the Arizona Cardinals last week in Philadelphia. He transformed into the @Fake610WIPCaller fantastically and was an instant Internet hit. This week? Following the Eagles win of the Giants, Angry Greg simply wasn’t angry and it makes us a little sad.

  15. On Vince Young and His Propensity for Winning Football Games

    Nov 21, 2011, 1:04 AM EDT

Say what you want about his personal habits, his beliefs, and, you know, the way he generally lives his life. And say what you want about how he doesn’t have the skills to make it in the NFL. And say anything and everything you want about whether this success and style of play is sustainable over the long haul. But when all that is over, remember the thirty one other reasons why none of that matters.

  16. It’s Vince-sanity! Eagles Backups, Defense Fight On

    Nov 21, 2011, 12:00 AM EDT

With Michael Vick out due to injury, and LeSean McCoy finding little room to run, a rusty Vince Young did just enough to lead the Birds offense to 17 points, while the defense stepped up when their teammates needed them most, limiting the Giants offense to 278 total yards and 10 points. The Eagles move up to 4-6, still a below average mark, but keeping them no further than two games out of first place in the NFC East.

  17. Brian Rolle’s Tommy Gun Celebration

    Nov 20, 2011, 9:43 PM EDT

Not many highlights from the first half of the Eagles vs. Giants game on Sunday Night Football, but Brian Rolle’s .45-caliber Tommy Gun celebration was clearly badass. GIF by @dhm
