  1. Penn State Meets Illinois and Its Opportunistic Coaching Staff

    This is a game many inside the Penn State program have had circled on their internal calendars since the summer, and for good reason. Seemingly hours after the NCAA announced that picking season on Penn State players was open to all other programs, a team of coaches representing Illinois made their way to State College to see if they could get any Penn State players to switch Big Ten Leaders Division allegiances.

    The start of Major League Bocce’s Philly fall season is only a few weeks away, and there’s just over one week left to register to play against our very own The700Level team.     September 11 is always going to be a day that sticks out on the calendar. Those who lived through that day will remember the tragic events and lost loved ones of that fall morning in their own ways.

    I was a junior at Boston College living off campus, so to look back and hear the story of Welles Crowther, who also became known as the Man in the Red Bandana, is particularly moving. ESPN’s Outside the Lines did a wonderful job telling the story of one of the thousands of heroes on that day.
