The 2011-2012 NBA All-Star reserves will be announced this evening and Andre Iguodala appears to be firmly seated on the bubble. Most who follow the league closely think this is Dre’s year to finally get recognized as one of the best all-around players in the game. Buoyed by the Sixers’ fantastic start, one of Doug Collins’ guys certainly deserves a spot. We hope Iggy gets his nod.

The 2011-2012 Sixers: fun for people of all ages. First it was Old Man Knees giving it to Kobe Bryant and now we bring you the awesome dancing Sixers kid doing his best Dougie for Doug Collins and the boys. This little dude is a quasi regular at the Sixers games over the past few seasons, sitting in the area behind the basket now partially reserved for the revolutionaries. Big Daddy (aka James Brister Jr.) may get the most crowd reaction, but little man has the best moves. [video below]

Kobe surpassed his former teammate, Shaq, to move into the fifth spot on the NBA’s All-Time scoring leaders list. Once he passed Shaq midway through the second quarter, Kobe went ice cold, hitting only one other field goal the rest of the game. It was, however, a fricking sick bucket, reminiscent of a certain Dr.’s up-and-under reverse layup against a certain L.A. team.

With the Lakers leading 88-86 with just less than three minutes to play, Kobe Bryant was whistled for an offensive foul. Mr. Bearded Kneeling Man made sure Kobe knows which end of the court he’s supposed to head to, and Lou Williams would take things over from there. [video below]
