Most who follow the league closely think this is Dre’s year to finally get recognized as one of the best all-around players in the game. Buoyed by the Sixers’ fantastic start, one of Doug Collins’ guys certainly deserves a spot. We hope Iggy gets his nod.

    Kobe surpassed his former teammate, Shaq, to move into the fifth spot on the NBA’s All-Time scoring leaders list. Once he passed Shaq midway through the second quarter, Kobe went ice cold, hitting only one other field goal the rest of the game. It was, however, a fricking sick bucket, reminiscent of a certain Dr.’s up-and-under reverse layup against a certain L.A. team.
