Jason Kelce Has Partial ACL Tear and Full MCL Tear, Season Still in Limbo

Share

Eagles head trainer Rick Burkholder updated reporters on Monday afternoon on the status of Eagles center Jason Kelce who was carted off the field yesterday after injuring his knee. Burkholder informed that an MRI this morning showed a partial tear to Kelce's ACL with a full tear to the MCL. Not the best news in the world, but there's still a chance he could play again this season.

Kelce will have a scope on Tuesday to determine if they'll need to reconstruct the ACL after the MCL heals, according to Reuben Frank.

His season is not officially over yet.

Dallas Reynolds filled in admirably after Kelce left the game yesterday. He's expected to step into the starting role.
