Lots of big names out there. Super Bowl-winning coaches
turned broadcasters: Jon Gruden, Bill Cowher, Brian Billick. Eager minds from
the college ranks: Chip Kelly, Bill O’Brien. NFL assistants whose stars are
still on the rise: Dirk Koetter, Mike McCoy, Greg Roman, Bruce Arians, Josh
McDaniels. So many more.
We want to hear your choice to be the next head coach of the
Eagles and why. Over the coming days we’ll be bombarded by rumors of
interviews to come, but now is your chance to weigh in and say, “That was my guy from the
beginning!”
Personally, I’ll be happy with almost anybody, just to get
some new blood in that organization. That said, if I was forced to get behind
one guy, I rather like this McCoy from Denver. Anybody that can make Tim Tebow the
center of a pro offense and actually win games no less, then turn around and be
able to work with the great mind of Peyton Manning is somebody worth talking
to.
Time will tell if Jeffrey Lurie thinks McCoy worth a phone
call, but he would certainly be on my short list. Who's on yours?
