Franzke and L.A. as Muses

Mar 23, 2012, 10:36 AM EDT

Local artist Alright Mike did this fantastic depiction of Scott Franzke and L.A. as the voices of good and evil.

Friend of the Level and local artist Alright Mike is a huge Phillies fan and like most of us diehards he thoroughly enjoys the banter between radio guys Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen. The duo even inspired him to create the artwork you’re looking at. Mike writes: “I listen to the Phillies on the radio way more than I watch them on TV.
In the past few years, I’ve come to love the stylings of the announcers,
Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen, as much as I love the baseball team.
Besides simply being great at their jobs, I love that Franzke is such a
good straight man to Andersen’s – more colorful? – commentary about, oh,
let’s say the umpires, for instance.”

But L.A. is always right about the umps!

Fantastic depiction. For the original larger version of Mike’s Franzke-L.A. piece click here.
