Phillies Fans Mock the Tomahawk Chop in 14-1 Rout of Braves

Those in attendance at today's Phillies game were truly enjoying this victory long before the final pitch was actually thrown. In fact, they took the opportunity late in the game -- likely egged on by the Phillie Phanatic who was behind the Phis duggout -- to use the Atlanta Braves' rallying cry, the Tomahawk Chop, against them.

The Phillies were having their way with the Braves on Sunday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park. Philadelphia fans were treated to a gem from starter Cole Hamels and an offensive explosion good for 14 runs on 20 hits.

Those in attendance were truly enjoying this victory long before the final pitch was actually thrown. In fact, they took the opportunity late in the game — likely egged on by the Phillie Phanatic who was behind the Phis dugout — to use the Atlanta Braves’ rallying cry, the Tomahawk Chop, against them.

Nothing like destroying your division rival to head into the All-Star break on a high note while rubbing it in juuust a little in the process.
