Video: Evan Turner Shows Off His ‘MJ Move,' Cracks Joke at Doug Collins

Man. If you're starting to come around on former second-overall draft pick Evan Turner after the way he's played the past few weeks, his effort in the Sixers' Tuesday night win over the Dallas Mavericks should help facilitate that further. Not only did ET show off his "M.J. move," he also had some fun at his coach's expense after the win.

Turner's jumper has been looking much improved as off late. He finished 8-12 from the field on Tuesday, good for 22 points, 4 boards, 4 assists, and 2 treys. His coach is proud of the growth.

"I love the way Evan's playing," Coach Collins said after the game.

"It all comes from right here," Collins said as he pointed to his noggin. "The way he's approaching the game every night. I like where he is emotionally."

"It's funny now. In certain stretches of the game where it gets tight or whatever, I'll be talking to him and he'll crack a joke with me."

Evan cracked one after a particular play where he hit a fading jump shot on the wing after bringing the ball up the court and driving a bit. After a timeout he told Coach Collins that was his "MJ move."

You can watch Evan tell his side of the story in the above video. He continued his show of chuckles after the game by saying if he didn't make the shot, Coach Collins would have put him on the bench.

Turner was then asked if he thought Coach Collins ever yanked Michael Jordan from a game for missing such a shot.

"To a certain extent I don't think coached Jordan," Turner said with a smile.
