Bernie Parent Wants You to ‘Stay Horny' This Valentine's Day

Bernie Parent wants you to "stay horny." You read that correctly.

In an article on Philly.com entitled, "Unleash your hidden wolf on Valentine's Day," Flyers Hall of Fame goaltender Bernie Parent is dispensing advice on the matters of love.

Using the 2012 Winter Classic Alumni Game as an innuendo-laden preface, Bernie explains the pressures of having to "perform" as a 66-year-old in front 45,000 fans and millions more at home.

After explaining that it was his inner-wolf that allowed him to work up the courage to reap the rewards of venturing into the unknown, rather than merely sitting on the bench and waving, Bernie applies this logic to the ways of the heart.

Everything I type will fail in comparison so here's Bernie:

Let’s forget my career with the Philadelphia Flyers, back-to-back
Stanley Cup championships, and Hall of Fame induction, just for one
minute. Even though these significant events have opened many doors and
opportunities beyond my wildest dreams, I am here to introduce you to
the human side of me; the primitive side, the animal side, the “wolf.”

...

Now that I’ve set the tone, revealed my goal to help people find what
makes them tick and my purpose for joining Philly.com, I’d like to turn
the focus to the month of February and Valentine’s Day.

...

Being that I am a seasoned ladies man and “Philadelphia’s most
interesting man,” I have the same message for both types of people: Find
your wolf.

...

Stay horny, my friends.
