While we didn't get a look at the uniforms that will be worn on January 2nd, 2012, we did get some new info and a few fun moments during today's Winter Classic press conference.
There will be an alumni game played on December 31st in addition to a game featuring the Phantoms in the days after the Flyer-Rangers game. Peter Luukko also mentioned there being skating opportunities for the general public as well as the potential for NCAA hockey and/or high school hockey games at Citizens Bank Park to allow as many people as possible to see the setup.
Perhaps the best moment came when the Rangers GM Glen Sather started talking smack about the Flyers and how New York beat them on the way to Stanley Cups back in the day. Ed Snider fired right back.

"When he said 'we kicked the hell out of you in two Stanley Cups' he
wasn't talking about the Rangers," Snider responded. "I remember kicking the hell out of
the Rangers on the way to our Cups! [Crowd cheers]."
