Flyers Pick a Jersey Boy, Goalie Anthony Stolarz

With the second round pick the Flyers got as part of the trade that sent Sergei Bobrovsky to Columbus (45th overall), the team selected goaltender Anthony Stolarz. Stolarz is a native of Edison, New Jersey, and yes, grew up a Devils fan. He's huge at 6'5" and played last season with Corpus Christi of the North American Hockey League. Jay King of SBN says Stolarz is signed on to play with the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and was cut from two Eastern Junior Hockey League teams before rebounding nicely with Corpus Christi.
