Jakub Voracek Gets Bump, Wins NHLs First Star of the Week Honors

Feb 25, 2013, 4:02 PM EDT

Last Monday we wrote that Jakub Voracek was emerging as a
key player
for the Flyers. Thanks to our positive press, Voracek went on to be
named the NHL’s First Star of the Week.

That’s right. Because of The700Level, the NHL observed Jake’s
contributions on the ice, which included leading all NHL players in points with
11. He set a career high with four points against the Islanders on Monday,
followed it up with his first ever hat trick – including the game winner score –
in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, another goal versus Florida on Thursday, and three
more assists in a W over Winnipeg.

Hm… come to think of it, maybe Voracek would’ve been one of
the three stars without us, but first star? Not without The Level bump!
