Chris Pronger is as tough as they come in the game of hockey, but even he couldn't keep from screaming as he first lay on the ice, then skated off in extreme pain after the stick of Toronto's Mikhail Grabovski caught him in the face on the follow-through of a shot.

Pronger went down immediately, clutching a hand to his face and covering his right eye. He will not return to the game, but no updates are yet available. It certainly did not look good. We'll update as we hear more.

UPDATE: Paul Holmgren is hoping Pronger can re-join the team in the next 10 days to 2 weeks. He has a lot of swelling around his eye, and he'll be on bed rest for 4 days. Homer also said, "When Chris comes back, he'll be wearing a visor."
