Likewise, you wouldn’t hear many arguments if the Phillies somehow unloaded Ryan Howard’s contract and stuck the 2012 American League Triple Crown Winner over at first base.
No, Cabrera is not a free agent, he just happened to be in Philadelphia for a surgery. While in town, the eight-time MLB All Star stopped by the Flyers dressing room on Friday while wearing an Eagles sweatshirt—except the “Eagles” part is crossed out (minus the logo), and the text simply reads “property of Philadelphia.” If only.
