Brian Dawkins To Be First Recipient of the Brian Dawkins Lifetime Achievement Award at Clemson

Philadelphia is not the only place legendary Eagles safety Brian Dawkins is both respected and beloved. His alma mater, the Clemson Tigers, will name the Brian Dawkins Lifetime Achievement Award after No. 20, according to Clemson sports website TigerNet.com.

[Clemson coach] Swinney said the award will be given to aformer Clemson football
player 10 years removed from Clemson and “it is about being the best and
living your life that way”.The first recipient will be Brian Dawkins.

Dawkins of course had his No. 20 retired by the Eagles last year in an emotional ceremony.
