Shady McCoy’s Madden-like spin move

Dec 22, 2013, 10:52 PM EDT

The Philadelphia Eagles are cruising past the Chicago Bears tonight en route to an NFC East showdown with the Cowboys next Sunday evening. But before we focus on the serious task at hand in Dallas, it’s worth savoring this one.

Nobody makes you appreciate the beauty of football more than Shad McCoy. He’s padded his NFL rushing lead this evening with impressive run after impressive run. No play was more eye-popping, however, than the absolutely disgusting spin move he pulled off down by the goal line on his way into the endzone for the second time on the evening.

LeSean was over 100 yards on the evening and is within reach of Wilbert Montgomery’s single season rushing record for the Eagles.

Is there any athlete playing in Philly today that is more fun to watch than Shady? I think not.

I am by no means convinced that beating Dallas will be easy (just think of the expectations you had at kickoff of the Minn game). We had EVERYTHING firing tonight and likely could have beaten anyone. But that can’t just be dialed up, and too often it ain’t there right on command. I know NBC is blowing them as we speak, but our guys would be wise to plan for far more adversity than tonight’s cakewalk.

I foresee about 7 PI calls against the birds. With a big dumb stadium full retards, they’ll go “oooaaah” while the receiver throws his arms in the air forcing the sensitive back judge to chuck the cloth. It’s just a weird feeling I have.. Romo will complete only about 17 passes but still score 30+ points. Birds are going to have to win a shootout. I like those odds a lot better than that poop fest they put on the field last time they faced the Cowboys.
