GIFs: Shady McCoy is Filthy against Redskins

Chip Kelly’s highly touted fast-paced offense was fun to watch on Monday night in Washington — at least for the first three quarters or so. There were plenty of no huddles, intricate reads, goofy colored sideline signs, bells, whistles, all that. It was so fast! But the most exciting play in Chipper’s playbook may be a simple handoff to LeSean McCoy.

Holy juke move, Shady is fun to watch.

McCoy finished the night with 184 rushing yards on 31 carries including the sweet TD you see below. It was the second highest yards in a game total for Shady, coming just one shy of the 185 he put up against the Cowboys in 2011.

The Eagles held on for the 33-27 victory and now share the top spot in the NFC East with the Cowboys at 1-0.

Pretty damn good start from Chipper. Now to work on those finishes.

The Reskins need some extra time in tackling stations this week

The middle of our secondary is still softer than a warm marshmallow. The second half was pretty painful to watch. Hopefully the offense can figure out how to play 4 quarters, because intermediate passes to the middle of the field are looking automatic for opposing offenses.

On the positive side, Trent Cole looks to be making the big transition to LB, Kendricks looks like a disruptive force, and Cary Williams can shop for all the Sconces he wants if he keeps playing like that. But overall, I hope the D wasn’t showing us it’s true colors in the second half because we aren’t going to win a lot of games giving up 5-6 12 yard slants in a row over the middle.

You’re picking them apart like they’re SB favorites or something. They backed off and went into prevent mode too early. New team, new coaches, big deal. And guess what? We won! You probably complain after sex too.

We won a few games early last season too. I don’t lower expectations for my team. Their Super Bowl chances are over when they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

If I “complain about sex” you much blow your load when a girl touches your leg.

You mean that’s not how it’s supposed to happen?

Lotta great plays & playas last night.
Much will be written about our top 5, but how bout a shout to Avant, easily the best downfield blocking receiver Eagles have ever had. Whenever you see a safety airborne or backwards onto his ass, means Avant’s nearby.

Amen. Love Avant. Fumble aside, he played great.

On blocking, I hope Vick dials his blocking down a little bit. He went headfirst into somebody near the sidelines on the first drive.

What the heck is Vick doing in that second clip? Looks like he’s trying to control McCoy with his body language.
