Andy Reid just shared the news that there is no actual break in Michael Vick's hand. According to Reid, the X-ray was misinterpreted because a blood vessel on top of the bone gave the appearance of a break.
"The blood vessel made it look like it was a fracture. He still has a
bunch of swelling in it that's got to get out of there. It's sensitive
to the touch right now. The positive is there's not a fracture there."
Regardless, Vick's hand is still very badly bruised and there is a lot of swelling that needs to go down before he can play. Reid did not give a timeline but also didn't rule him out for Sunday.
