LeSean McCoy says he'd take his two-year-old son over Tim Tebow

The journalists over at TMZ tracked down Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy in a California airport in order to ask him the pressing questions of our day. Who embodies the spirit of Philadelphia more, Will Smith or Rocky Balboa? Really, that was the first question asked.

Then they asked Shady about the most expensive piece of jewelry he's ever purchased, something McCoy actually seemed interested in talking about. Perhaps that could be a new blog feature on PhiladelphiaEagles.com: I Want To Go To Jacob the Jeweler with Shady McCoy.

When they finally got to a football related question, it was an odd one, and Tim Tebow's name did not sit well with McCoy when asked about guys out of the game who deserve another shot:

"Tim Tebow?" McCoy said. "My son’s two. I’ll take my son over Tim Tebow."

Also, if you missed it over the weekend, McCoy was one of the Eagles players who stood up for former teammate DeSean Jackson. More from Reuben Frank:

“I mean, it’s a surprise for sure,” LeSean McCoy said Saturday. “I think anyone that tells you that they’re happy with it is … I don’t know how honest that would be.”
