Roger Goodell smiled on TV, players rejoiced thinking of their looming paychecks, fans cheered the thought of parking lot tailgates, and the Eagles business operations got busy swiping season ticket-holder’s credit cards.

The NFL lockout, after all, was about money, so it’s no surprise organizations wasted no time getting the cash register cranking. Trades can’t happen until Tuesday, free agency doesn’t begin until Friday evening, but at least we know the Eagles are plenty prepared for the start of business.
