Nick Foles drives Eagles right down the field to take early 7-0 lead

Oct 13, 2013, 1:15 PM EDT

Well that was a pretty damn fantastic way to open a football game. A well-executed screen pass to the dangerous Shady McCoy went for 44 yards on the first play from scrimmage and the Eagles were off and rolling. A couple of nice completions to Riley Cooper, DeSean Jackson, and the first of the year for Demaryius Johnson and the Eagles were in the red zone ready to pounce.

And how’d they finish the great drive off for six? A Nick Foles QB draw. Love it.

7-0 early in Tampa.

Where are all the Foles lovers? This offense looks awful right now.

He looks more uncomfortable then glennon. I hope he pulls it together

Foles had no turnovers and the Eagles won; now you tell me how many turnovers has Vick averaged per game this season?
I like both players with each having their own playing style. Vick is injured and Foles is the back up so what’s the problem with rallying behind him? After all he is the better player Foles is.
      Thank you.

Ed Rendell uses it as an excuse to go out and eat in Philly.
