Noted Cowboys’ fan Dom Brown received a personalized Philadelphia Eagles jersey, says he’ll wear it

Feb 15, 2014, 6:58 PM EDT

The city of Philadelphia briefly pondered exiling Phillies outfielder Dom Brown after he tweeted a photo of himself at the Linc in a Cowboys jersey during an Eagles game. Alas, most of us just drank another beer and forgot about the whole thing a minute later.

Not CSN/NBC’s John Clark, however. Clark is down in Clearwater for Spring Training and passed along a gift tom Dom from the Eagles organization, a personalized No. 9 Eagles jersey.

Brown took it all in stride, even going so far as saying he’d cheer for the Birds when they weren’t playing his Cowboys and would even wear the gift on occasion.

When pressed to pick a QB between Nick Foles and Tony Romo, Brown showed his true Cowboys’ fan bona fides and went with Foles.

Man I was hoping it was a Reggie Brown jersey that had the dust and cobwebs brushed off it lol.

Does anyone think this team is going to win more than 73 games this year? 73 was their win total last year. I’m taking the under. I hope I’m wrong but there is very little to get excited about with this roster.

If Lee and Burnett don’t fall off because of age, I think they could get in the range of 80 wins. I really hope not, because anything short of a collapse leaves is stuck with Amaro. The odds of a group of 34+ yr old players not suffering injuries or just losing their ability is pretty slim at best.
