Spencer Hawes Is Not Happy with This Morning’s Ruling, Calls it ‘a Joke’

That’s right, Oregon will lose three total scholarships over the next three years and Chip Kelly was hit with a show-cause penalty, which semi-bans him — but only kind of — from college football for the next 18 months. It’s serious stuff.

Geoff Mosher has more on the sanctions here, and according to the Oregonian the university tried to hit up Chip for a $20,000, but he had already bolted to Philadelphia.

Spencer Hawes played his college basketball at the University of Washington. What did you think we were getting at?
